As Cute As A Button Party

A couple of Saturdays ago, we (the whole fam) attended the 1st birthday party of my niece. It was a simple celebration and gathering of family and friends.

The program was just quick and simple, letting the guests eat, a few games c/o the clowns and the blowing of the birthday cake. Since there were only a few kids present during the party, the prizes were just enough for every kid who participated in the games.

G is already big enough to enjoy kiddie birthday parties. He joins all the games and is very competitive (we raised him well, hahaha!). He always wants to win in each of the games. He has mastered the "bring me" game already but he knows there are 2 "bring me" that he will never win: 1) bring a sexy/beautiful/singing/dancing mommy and 2) bring a handsome/macho/singing/dancing daddy. Hahahaha!
Even if we are competitive people, we would never join that game and embarrass ourselves!

Here are some photos taken during the party:

Brick Wall

How was your holiday yesterday?

I spent mine chillaxing and eating at home :)

Now, I am back at being busy at work and enduring the hopeless EDSA/Metro Manila traffic. Good thing though that it is Wednesday already and the weekend is near! I can't wait to spend time with G watching movies, eating, shopping, winning tickets in Timezone and just having fun with him :)

Moving on, here's a dress down Friday attire of mine from a couple of weeks back:

Promod top
Mango pants
Ever New sandals

Have a great day!

Pink & Pink

Two shades of pink to start and end my work week:

Zara top
Forever 21 skirt
Aldo shoes

Here's a story:

G was required by his teacher to attend a mass every Sunday. Ever since, he has been bugging me to bring him to church. So while we were staycationing in Edsa Shangri-La (more on that soon), I decided to bring him to the anticipated mass held at the mall lobby. The mass has just started so we were able to listen to the 1st and 2nd reading plus the homily.

During the homily of the priest, he was discussing on how people should give more time to attend mass and listen to the word of God. His lecture/homily was something like this (in Tagalog), "Ang mga tao laging naiinip sa misa. Lagi nalang 'sana matapos na ang misa para maka dinner na kami' o di kaya 'sana matapos na misa para maka mall na kami'. Dapat baliktad, dapat mas may panahon para sa Diyos tulad ng 'sana matapos agad kami magmall para makapunta sa misa'. I was about to explain to G what the priest has just said when G suddenly turned to me and said, "what's taking him so long? He keeps on talking and talking! He's never gonna end. I want to go now!".  Good thing I was able to convince G to stay longer and finish the homily, I just explained to him what the homily was about so that he know what to tell his teacher when he goes back to school. :)

4th of July

A simple 4th of July birthday celebration with family and some friends.

We were all craving for different kinds of food, so this event was a perfect excuse for us to have all our food cravings and binge eat :)

Busy Day

It was a Friday and I was on leave.

Our (G and I) day started at Ateneo where I had to attend the 1st PTC of this school year. I waited for 1.5 hours before I got to talk to G's teacher. It only took me 10 minutes to talk to the teacher (unlike the other inconsiderate parents who goes way beyond the allotted time!).

Next stop was at Toyota Pasig where we had to submit some documents and get a plate with the conduction number on it. This took quite a while because there are a lot of people inquiring/buying in that branch. While waiting for the agent, G and I grabbed some snacks first at their mini cafeteria at the 2nd floor.

Then we headed straight to Shangri-La mall to do some shopping and buy some groceries. I was supposed to buy a cute crop top for me and new loafers for G but decided not to buy any to commit to my promise of saving up :) We browsed around a little more before eating dinner. Our last stop was the grocery, the mall is about to close when we finally finished paying for our items, so we headed straight home right after that :)

It was busy day for us but I still wasn't able to go to all the places that I needed to go because most of our time was wasted in heavy metro traffic!

Anyway, here are some pics during that day:

Black and Leather

It's a gloomy Tuesday and classes are suspended. Unfortunately, us working people still have to go to work :(

The storm is not yet here in Metro Manila but I think the rain will pour down later in the afternoon which will definitely cause a major traffic jam!

Good luck to all of us later!

Take care on the road!

Transformers: Age of Extinction

I liked the first 2 Transformers movies but this one was the most boring movie I have ever watched!

It was a struggle for me to sit through the whole 3 hours of the movie. I was already feeling restless and my legs were starting to get numb but the movie was not even halfway done! The acting of some of the actors were terrible, the only saviour was Stanley Tucci (who was funny) and the robots.

I wouldn't recommend people to watch this movie more than once... a total waste of money and time.

Let's just move on to my outfit during that very boring movie night:

Kamiseta Top
Miss Selfridge skirt
Gucci Bag

I did not include my feet anymore because I was already wearing slippers :D

Birthday Present: Versace Perfume

Thank you to my very generous brother for giving me this Versace perfume!

I haven't tried it yet and don't know what it smells like since I am not familiar with the scents of the brand. I will definitely use this as soon as my other perfume runs out.

I will try to update this entry with the exact scent and lasting effect of the perfume once I use it. :)
