Celebrations At Newport Mall, Resorts World Manila

We celebrated chinese new year and my MIL's birthday at Newport Mall. My MIL treated us to a sumptuous dinner at Passion restaurant located at the 2nd floor of Maxim's hotel.

Here are some pictures of our dinner:

Fresh suahe!

lechon macau

fried rice, beef with broccoli in pepper sauce, peking duck 2nd way - deep fried in salt and pepper (partially hidden)

steamed fish

The food was great. We ordered steamed fresh suahe (my favorite!), lechon macau, beef with broccoli in pepper sauce, steamed fish and peking duck. I wasn't able to take a picture of the peking duck anymore because I was too busy eating hahaha!

What I love about the peking duck at Passion is that they have 2 choices for the duck's 2nd way. In most restaurants, the 2nd way will be the minced duck meat with lettuce but in Passion they can deep fry the duck meat in salt and pepper. We chose the deep fried in salt and pepper and it was good! Also, the price of half a duck is not that expensive, just around Php 1900. Not bad eh?

After dinner, we took some outfit pictures before browsing the stores:

Knitted sweater
Jeans and riding boots from Zara
Gucci bag

Long sleeves from Old Navy
Jeans from H&M
Gucci shoes

There is an on going activity (until February 14) at the activity center. There are food stalls and chinese charm stores. They also have a fortune teller and photo booth. Just present a receipt worth Php 2000 from any newport mall establishments and you get to pick an ang pao from their big tree. You can either get a photo booth voucher or a fortune teller voucher. I wanted the fortune teller but the ang pao that G got contains a photo booth voucher. Good enough as I like the outcome of our photo (see first picture on this post).
