2nd AGS PTC + Fun Day at BGC

A few weeks ago, I attended the 2nd quarter PTC of AGS. G's grade went down a little except for Filipino. It was good to know that he is learning and understanding more in Filipino since that was his only grade below 90 during the 1st quarter. Even though most of his grades went down, he still got an average of 92+ and he also got an award, "Best English Speaker in Class"!

After the PTC, we went straight to BGC to have some late breakfast and go around High Street to shop before going home.

Here are some pictures:

And The Shopping Spree Continues...

Shoe Shopping For A Cause

I sponsored a child/teenager at our company's Christmas shoe charity or whatever you call it. Yes, I am shoe shopping for a kid/teenager from Precious Heritage, one of our company's chosen orphanage institution!

9 1/2 at 15 years old?! how big is this kid???

I am happy because I get to shop for shoes and at the same time make someone happy this Christmas by receiving my shoe gift... I'm excited!

How about you guys? Have you helped the less fortunate already in your own little way?

Successful Shoe Shopping

I mentioned in my other post that I was on a hunt for the perfect shoes for my company's upcoming Christmas party. I am so happy to announce that I found them a couple of weeks ago and the best part is that it didn't cost that much! Yey!

The color and the height = perfect for my Christmas party gown :)

And because it was affordable, I was still able to buy these boots that I have been wanting for so long (3 effin' years!):

cheaper than the one I was lusting for in the US 3 years ago!

Plus these cute earrings (on sale):

only 340 pesos from 600+

M was with me shopping. So, while I was trying on several shoes and deciding which one to buy, M found these formal shoes that he will wear during the Christmas party and the wedding on Friday:

Shiny maroon formal shoes. perfect for tuxedos

Black formal shoes

I am loving this store already. Since it is a sister company of Aldo, most of the shoes are similar to what Aldo sells (and aldo is one of my favorite shoe brand!).

I am one happy shopper!

*Wait for my other posts, my Christmas shopping spree has started...

Ohayou Gozaimasu

Konnichi wa! Ogenki Desu Ga?

Here I am trying to show my inner Japanese again via this Japanese school girl outfit. LOL!

I am so loving this skirt. Would you believe that I got this on sale at Gap Kids? Either the American kids are big or I am just too small tiny. I am probably just tiny since my nephew who is 15 years old is 9 inches taller than me! Yes, he is 5 feet and 10 inches tall hahaha!

This skirt is super worth it!

Ouch

Is there an outbreak happening?

I got hospitalized last Wednesday because of severe diarrhea and vomiting. I tried to cure myself by taking otc medicines but to no avail. When I threw up last Wednesday, I knew I had to get myself checked because it might be something serious.

M brought me to the ER of St. Luke's in BGC. Funny that when I got there, there are a lot of people with the same condition as I have. Another is that I can't poop anymore for the stool sample, I can't throw up too. Maybe because I already threw up all the food that I ate in the morning.

Anyway, the doctor injected 2 kinds of medicines directly in my vein then got a blood sample from me... que horror! The pain! Well, it took more than 3 hours for the results to be finished and for me to get discharged. They did not find any infection in my blood but since there is constant pain in my upper abdomen and my tummy is still rumbling (plus my belching wouldn't stop), the doctor just prescribed some antibiotics, proton pump inhibitor and buscopan to help relieve my pain.

Unfortunately, the pain in my tummy (rumbling, stiffness and belching) is still there. I am hoping that by the time I have consumed all of my meds, I would be feeling better... crossing fingers.

ouchie!

that's me in pain trying to get some sleep

Congratulations!

Who knew G would get an award like this?!

I know that I am not that good in english (but super good in math hahaha!) so I am very happy that G is the best english speaker in his class. Ah, all those moments when I would get dizzy just talking to G and trying to explain things - trying to translate filipino sentences to english! - all paid off!

Keep up the good work!

Hey! Today is 11.12.13 and there are probably a lot of couples getting married today. It is a rare occurrence, the next one will be after a hundred years (November 12, 2113)!

I am on a mission today. I need to buy the right shoes for my dress which I will wear on my company's Christmas party. I am thinking if I should just wear my Gucci stilettos with my gown/dress but I am hoping that I will be able to find a nice pair of shoes to buy... crossing my fingers.
