Last Week of Summer

This is the last week of Summer so I tried my best to wear this week all of my new summer clothes!

June will be the start of school (most if not all) and the rainy season so my summer clothes will have to wait for another year to be worn again (unless the weather is super hot, I can wear my summer clothes again hehehe).

Anyway, I wasn't able to blog about my outfit for this week for several reasons:

1. I was in Baguio
2. Busy with work
3. Went to ADMU for the parent's orientation
4. My official photographer is on leave so I was not able to take my outfit photo in the office

Because of that, this post will be a one time big time post of my outfits for this week!
*No outfit post during my trip to Baguio though :(

Anza Wine and Cheese Party

I together with M, Y, N and C got invited by our office mate/friend A to attend the Anza wine and cheese party at the Top of the Citi by Chef Jessie. It will be our (me, m, y and n) first time to attend such party as we are used to the typical dinner with beers and clubbing kind of party. It was also our first time to go to the Top of the Citi by Chef Jessie so we were a bit excited about this event.

We just came back from that event and here are some highlights:

  • Since I am not a wine drinker, I focused on the different kinds of crackers and cheese that they are serving.
  • Aside from cheeses, they have different vegetable sticks and chutneys
  • There were a lot of different wines to choose from. I tried to taste them all but the others are too strong for me
  • Cocktails were served all throughout the event
  • There were a lot of people from the office and we got to meet some of them
  • We were the only Pinoys in the party (I think)... LOL!

The only downside though is that the ticket for the event is a bit expensive but we still bought it to support our friend A (he is one of the organizers... he loves wine).

Looking forward to more parties with these guys. :)

Moving on to my outfit of the day:

Berlin There Done That

I finally tried my other OPI nail polish (remember, the one that I bought at Duty Free a few months ago together with the liquid sand?).

This one is called the "Berlin There Done That". It is kinda similar to a mocha colored nail polish. I like this color very much because it suits all ages and has a very classy color. It makes any hand look classy, elegant and pretty. Another thing that I like about OPI polishes is that it dries easily which is good so that I can move my hands and feet freely as soon as it dries.

This shade is a stark contrast to the other nail polish colors that I have (green, purple, violet, fuchsia, dark blue, gray, red and yellow). I'll try to post them all (when I use them) so that you'll see the difference.

3 Day Outfit Post

Since I was not able to blog my outfit for the past 3 days, I'll be posting them all now.

I only went to work during the morning (pm off). Before going home, I went on a quick shopping trip at Forever 21 and bought a cute denim dress (will try to wear it soon and post a picture).

Top: Forever 21 * Skirt: H&M * Shoes: Michael Antonio * Watch: Guess

I was on sick leave so outfit posts.

My office mate calls this outfit the Lara Croft-Steve Irwin mash-up attire... LOL!

Dress: Zara * Belt: Forever 21 * Tights: Dorothy Perkins * Boots: Bakers * Watch: Michael Kors

I have my period (tmi hahaha!) so I wanted to wear pants and a comfortable top. I cannot say that this is a very fashionable attire but it is very comfortable :)

Top: H&M * Slacks: no brand from bazaar * Shoes: DKNY * Watch: DKNY
elevator shot :)

PS: G graduated from swimming and tennis lessons already. I'll post more about it soon.

Working on a Sunday

It's a Sunday and I am here in the office as early as 7:00 am to work. It is that project again that requires us to go to work on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). Because I was so busy with work this past week, I did not have time to post my outfit last Friday :( (I went back to work last Friday after our dinner/drinks and went home past 1 am!). The only thing that I like when working on weekends is that there is less traffic (especially in Makati; travel time is only 30 mins compared to the usual 1.5 hrs) and that if I finish early, I still have enough time to go to the mall before going home... happy me :).

Friday outfit:

Top: Forever 21 * Pants: Zara * Belt: Promod * Sandals: Jessica Simpson * Watch: Charriol

Sunday outfit:
*Just grabbed whatever comfortable clothes I have in the closet so that I won't be late in the office...

Top: Promod * Shorts: Zara * Sandals: Vince Camuto * Watch: FCUK * Leather bracelet: Forever 21

Young, 'White' and Free

Wearing this white dress makes me feel young, 'white' and free (got it from the song "young, wild and free". Not sure if that is the real title though). I'm beginning to like white dresses and pants because of it's clean and crisp look. I think I should buy more white clothes... hmm... maybe I can have a quick trip to the mall after my work on Sunday >:).

Dress: Cache Cache * Shoes: Louis Vuitton * Watch: FCUK * Bangle: Forever 21

Outfit Post: Wednesday

Can't think of a title for today's outfit post.

I'm wearing the skirt that I bought at few weeks ago at Warehouse. It was on sale at 30% off! The picture was taken using my phone so it doesn't show the details of the skirt (glittery gold).

Top: Mango * Skirt: Warehouse * Shoes: Aldo * Watch: Michael Kors

On another note, do you guys know (especially my shopaholic readers) that SM Aura at BGC is opening on May 16 (or 17?)?! Forever 21 will be having a special opening for F21 credit card holders on May 16! That's tomorrow already! Let's go fellow shopaholics, we have a new mall to invade!

Singapore Trip - March 2013 - Day 1 (part 1)

Day 1

We arrived early at the airport so we still had time for breakfast at the miascor vip lounge after our check-in.

We went to the gate just a few minutes before boarding so that we can maximize the free wifi at the lounge haha! This is our first time to right a budget plane for an international flight, the plane is new and not that small. I fell asleep before take off because I only had 3 hours of sleep the night before and was very sleepy. The flight was about 4 hours and I slept through the 3 hours of the flight. I woke up on the last hour just in time to witness and experience the most horrific and scary descend and landing ever of my life! I have traveled so many times in different airlines but this one was the worst. It's like we are going to fall and die! The plane was shaking terribly and moving from side to side! It scared the hell out of all of us passengers!

After landing, we hurriedly went out of the plane and took some pictures before going to the immigration.

When we went to get our bags, we got confused and shocked because both of the bag tags of M (one is from my brother by the way! pakshet!) are gone! We were so frustrated! This is the first time ever that our bag tags got stolen. I have used my brothers bag tag for a long time and in several trips in different countries but it was never stolen! Some assh*le stole, not just one, but both of M's bag tags! Cheap assh*le! F*ck, I still get frustrated whenever i think about that incident.

Anyway, we cannot do anything about it anymore. It is just so frustrating that even a bag tag can be stolen (this gave us more reason to not ride Jetstar anymore, ever!). We took the train going to our hotel at orchard road because 1) we want to experience it and 2) it is cheaper than renting a taxi. It was raining when we got to our hotel so we got a little wet (and our bags). We checked out our room first and settled down before getting our late lunch. We were supposed to eat at pepper lunch but when we saw the prices, we backed off hahahahaha! Imagine the beef pepper rice costs 9.50 SGD, I think it only costs around 150 php back home. So anyway, we just transferred across to the burger joint (mos burger) which was way cheaper hehehehe. I was so hungry that i was not able to take any pictures of our lunch X_x
